Dr. Frank warren Houston is a native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.   He became a Christian at the age of 12.  He was called to vocational Christian ministry and preached his first sermon in his high school senior year on Sunday, February 13, 1972.  He was licensed February 18th of the same year.  He was ordained in November of 1972.

The 2nd of February of 2018 marked his 46th year in preaching ministry.  He has been a pastor-teacher for over 40 years, having served in Tennessee and now in Kentucky.

​

Dr. Houston has been an educator in public schools and an instructor and administrator at the collegiate level.  He is presently an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown College and Baptist seminary of Kentucky.  His primary ministry passion is teaching in the local church and in denominational functions. 

 

Dr. Houston is a popular speaker and staff writer for the Boyd Publications Corporation.  He was a contributing author for The Minister's Companion.  

 

Pastor Houston loves God, God's Word, the Lord's people, and being on a mission with God.  

 

He is married to the former Renea A. Moore.  They share three adult children and 3 grandchildren.

 

Dr. Houston's goal is to faithfully use his spiritual gifts, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to lead people into the fullness of Christian discipleship.
